Depending on your specialism, you may be required to use iMerit, our online timesheet platform. iMerit allows you to submit your worked hours online quickly and easily.

When you’re set up on iMerit for the first time, you’ll receive a welcome email (from onlinetimesheets@pulsejobs.com) with instructions to set up your account. Upon receiving your login details, follow the link to create an account and password. If you haven’t received your details, please contact your consultant or the payroll team for support. Once your account has been activated, you can log into the portal here.

Once successfully logged in, you are required to read Pulse’s terms and conditions. Please ensure you read these terms carefully and note your responsibilities whilst using the portal and submitting timesheets. There is a ‘help’ menu within the iMerit portal, or you can consult our helpful user guide below.

Important information will be displayed on the iMerit home page. Here you’ll find occasional updates, such as changes to approval deadlines around bank holidays or seasonal events.

Timesheet and payment deadlines

If you’re an iMerit user, Pulse run payroll twice per week: each Wednesday and Friday. This means that if you miss a timesheet deadline, you’ll only have to wait a few days until the next payment run, instead of a whole week.

Please note: if you’re working through a direct engagement model, you will not submit your worked hours on iMerit. The timesheet process and deadlines will depend on the individual Trust you are placed with, and the systems they use. Please contact your recruitment consultant for further guidance.

Our current payroll deadlines and the estimated dates you should receive payment are as follows:

Deadline: Tuesday – 6pm
Payment received: Thursday – 9am

Deadline: Thursday – 10am
Payment received: Friday – 4pm
