Key Information Document (KID) for agency workers

From 6th April 2020, it is a requirement for all new agency workers to be given a Key Information Document (KID) before agreeing terms with an employment business.

The requirement to provide a KID is set out in the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses (Amendment) Regulations 2019. It promotes greater transparency and accountability in the relationship between an employment business and agency worker, particularly regarding information around pay.

So, what exactly does this mean for you?

The information in the KID document will help you make an informed decision about the payment method best for you and your circumstances. Whenever any information in the document changes, such as a new deduction, change in pay frequency, or if you decide to work through a new LTD/PSC or Umbrella company, you will need to be issued a revised KID document.

If your LTD/PSC or umbrella company changes, please contact us as soon as possible to let us know. If we agree to the change in terms and conditions, we will issue you a revised K.I.D document within five working days.
