Our client is currently seeking a Lead Occupational Therapist to join their college based in Manchester. This position will be available for the successful therapist to start immediately, working full time hours each week for an ongoing period.

In this role, the therapist will guide and lead the occupational therapy team at Bridge College to ensure delivery of high-quality Occupational Therapy to students. This will take place through person centred assessment of therapeutic and equipment needs of students and provision of regular relevant training to the teaching and support staff team.

Applying OT’s must have:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist 
• Degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy 
• Extensive experience within a similar NHS setting 
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to work well within a team 
• Ability to build good relationships with patients

Duties within this role will include: 

• ASD assessment
• Carrying out functional assessments 
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team 
• Treating clients with Autism/ADHD
• Managing own caseload
• Being legally and professionally accountable for own work
