Pulse International is thrilled to announce that we have partnered with various hospitals across the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand. We are on an active search for dedicated and passionate Midwives to join these dynamic healthcare teams. This is a unique opportunity to expand your professional horizons while making a significant impact on patient lives in New Zealand.

We are seeking a dedicated Midwife who can fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the Health of Pregnant Women and Their Unborn Babies: They are responsible for keeping track of the health status of both the mother and the unborn child.
  • Providing Full Antenatal Care: This includes offering screening tests, examinations, and parenting classes.
  • Identifying High-Risk Pregnancies: They are tasked with identifying pregnancies that may require special attention or care, and making referrals to doctors and other medical specialists as needed.
  • Developing, Assessing, and Evaluating Individual Programmes of Care: They create personalized care plans for each patient and regularly assess and evaluate these plans.
  • Teaching New and Expectant Mothers: They educate mothers on how to feed, care for, and bathe their babies.
  • Liaising with Other Professionals: They work closely with other healthcare professionals such as doctors, physiotherapists, social workers, equipment suppliers, and architects, as well as patients’ families, teachers, carers, and employers.
  • Keeping Up-to-Date Records: They maintain accurate written and electronic records of treatments and progress to ensure continuity of care and meet legal requirements.
  • Training and Supervising: They may also train students and supervise the work of midwifery assistants.

  • A copy of your Passport.
  • At least one year of registered experience as a Midwife within the last two years.
