You said, we did

The latest Viewpoint updates for nursing, midwifery and theatre professionals.

Thank you once again for sharing your honest views in our latest Viewpoint survey. It’s really important to us that we keep receiving your feedback so that we can continue to support you in your career, whilst ensuring we are delivering the best possible service.

We’d like to take this opportunity to share with you some of the changes and improvements we are making, thanks to your responses.

Improving our recruitment process

We want you to have the best possible experience with us, from the moment you register through to employment and beyond.

We’ve taken onboard your feedback regarding our registration and onboarding process and have taken actions to improve this experience. We have appointed an experienced recruitment manager whose main focus is to implement new processes that make it easier for healthcare professionals like you to register with us.

We have also continued to invest in a team of associate recruitment consultants who will work alongside our new recruitment manger, ensuring an efficient and smooth onboarding and recruitment process for all.

Reward & recognition

We understand the ongoing feedback in regards to pay and monetary incentives, especially in the current climate. We always work hard to secure increased pay rates and exclusive contracts for you where possible. While we can’t always positively impact the rate of pay, we do hope that you can see we love to reward and recognise your work in other ways:

We continue to reward more Healthcare Hero Award winners than ever before, with around 12 announced every month.

We love finding other ways to show we care by delivering random acts of kindness, like our Just Eat voucher giveaway.

On International Nurses, ODP and Midwife Days, we hope you enjoyed our greetings cards and video from our Managing Director, Nicola Brady; thanking you for your continued support and dedication to the sector.

We’re not stopping there though, we’re pleased to announce that the Pulse Awards are back! We are restarting our annual awards event to recognise the amazing work you do and to celebrate all your successes. We’re working hard behind the scenes on the logistics to ensure the event will be everything you deserve and more, and look forward to sharing more details with you as soon as we can.

Communication

We understand that when working with an agency there’s a lot of information to absorb and at times it can be difficult to find the important information you need, especially when it’s shared via email or other mode of communication. With this in mind, we are excited to announce the launch of our information hub, created to support you and your career.

Click here to access the hub

It contains everything you need to know about working with Pulse; from getting started, your first shift, clinical and mental health support, through to training, revalidation and so much more. We will be continually adding to the hub to ensure it contains the most up-to-date information, along with tips and advice from our team.

The information hub is for you, so please share your feedback or ideas of what else you’d like to see in it with your consultant or in our next Viewpoint survey.

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who responded to our user testing sessions for this project. We were really overwhelmed by the fantastic response we received – we’ve used your insights to build the content for the hub and we will continue to going forward. We hope you enjoy your Amazon vouchers!

As you can see from the above, your feedback is invaluable and helps us to shape our business around the things that matter most to our healthcare professionals. Please continue to share your thoughts with us throughout your Pulse journey.
