Are you a qualified social worker looking to work within a dedicated children in care team?
We are working alongside a team that provides social work services to children and their families to safeguard and promote their welfare, that are currently expanding their team. We are looking to hear from HCPC registered, qualified social workers with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience. A background of implementing child protection and child in need plans is beneficial.
The team undertake key work responsibilities for children. They are working together to assess, advise and support children and families in need, alongside Health, Education and Targeted Family Support colleagues.
Your role will be to implement child protection and child in need plans, support looked after children, and to escalate cases through legal proceedings when required, liaising with partners internally and externally to ensure that services are provided efficiently and effectively.
