Pulse is currently seeking two HCPC registered social workers to join a busy tier 3 CAMHS team in Greater Manchester. The successful applicants will work in conjunction with the existing MDT to reduce the services waiting list. 

The main focus of the role will be to provide specialist treatment and interventions to children aged 5-16 with moderate to severe mental health presentations. Previous experience within a similar setting is essential.

These posts are available immediately, offering full time working hours and are tenured for 6 months initially.

Duties and responsibilities will include: 
• Assist in the process of rehabilitation and coordinate discharge planning arrangements 
• To participate in social care meetings 
• To receive safeguarding referrals and undertake safeguarding assessments/investigations, following BCC polices and procedures 
• Participate in regular supervision sessions and be proactive in identifying personal development needs

Skills and Experience needed: 
• At least 2 years post qualification experience 
• Experience as a social worker with children, young people and their families
• Good assessment and care planning skills 
• Provision of formal reports 
• Dip(SW), CQSW or equivalent qualification 
• GSCC registration
