For those with more complex and severe mental health needs, we offer a secure environment while our community-focused facility which helps service users return to independent living. A dedicated and multidisciplinary team of professionals, we deliver a range of therapies designed to help problems such as substance misuse, violent offending and personality disorder.
As an AHCPC Registered Social Worker, you’ll work closely with the MDT to provide a care pathway for our service user’s complex needs and requirements, creating relevant treatment goals, in liaison with health and social care agencies. Managing and minimising risk where appropriate, you’ll be actively engaged in the training and supervision of junior members of staff and students. You’ll bring with you a Social Work Degree and have experience working with mental health service users within a dynamic MDT. Possessing knowledge and understanding of relevant mental health legislation, you’ll have experience in effective communication with families and external agencies. Able demonstrate the abilities, experience and skills needed to deal effectively and constructively with conflict in challenging situations, you have taken an active part in service improvement and in developing your knowledge and skills.
