A Challenging new opportunity has become available for a Band 6 or 7 Social Worker to work within an Adult Community Mental Health Team, based at a well-established NHS trust in Greater Manchester. This is a locum vacancy for an initial 2-month period to start as soon as possible, offering Full-time hours.

Within this role, the candidate appointed will be required to provide assessments and home visits to clients with complex mental health needs who have been referred into the integrated Community Mental Health Team. 

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate good core knowledge around clinical assessment and interventions for the person with acute mental health needs, considering additional needs for involved dependent's, relatives and carers. Knowledge of PARIS would be preferable for this position but isn’t essential. 

*Pay rate will be dependent on banding* 

Skills and Knowledge required: 
• Be a registered member of the HCPC
• A relevant qualification in Social Work
• At least 4 years post-graduation experience
• A proven track record working within a similar environment, with sufficient Safeguarding and Mental Health knowledge
