Assistant Team Manager – Children's Locality Team - Berkshire – Up to £41K + 10% retention bonus
I am looking to speak to current Assistant Team Managers or experienced children's senior social workers with mentoring/management experience to join a thriving Locality’s team in Berkshire. Based in a great rural setting, the team has become known for its supportive management structure, along with a strong vein of best practices running through every level of seniority – this is an opportunity to work in a team where ‘signs of safety’ and ‘restorative practice’ are ingrained within the culture. As an authority that has seen an annual rise from strength to strength, the importance of being driven to continue this trend is a must in any prospective team member.
The ATM will be expected to have a depth of knowledge and skill to be a leader among the team, working closely with the team manager to achieve the best safeguarding outcomes for all children and young people moving through the service. Although previously holding the title of manager is not a ‘must’, a previous experience of mentoring other social workers as a Practice Educator would be a large benefit to any applicant looking to take the next step up the career ladder.
Employee Benefits for Children's Locality Assistant Team Manager:
- Up to 14% pension contribution
- £15,000 retention bonus
- Relocation package of up to £8000
- Flexible working schemes
- Generous annual leave allowances
- Childcare Vouchers
