A permanent role has become available for a band 8a HCPC registered Psychologist to work within a female adolescent service based in Cardiff. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible offering full time hours.
The post holder will work within a low secure unit for individuals between the ages of 12 and 18 with complex, severe and enduring mental health conditions. The psychologist will undertake specialist mental health assessments, as well as formulating treatment plans and delivering evidence based therapeutic interventions. The post holder will also work closely with non-psychological professionals, advising on best psychological care.
Suitable candidates will have knowledge of DBT, and experience working with adolescent patients.
To be considered for this role you will need:
• Relevant professional body registration – HCPC/BABCP
• Previous complex mental health experience
• Relevant degree/qualifications
