A permanent role has become available for a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to work within a specialist residential school for children and young people, within a Clinical Lead capacity.

Key skills required: 
• Full UK driving licence 
• Registration with the HCPC
• Highly developed knowledge and experience of clinical psychology 
• Experience of teaching, training and supervision 
• Professional qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology

The Psychologist in post will take the lead in providing assessments for children and young people with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, whilst also providing therapy and psychological interventions with family’s post-diagnosis. Offering advice and consultation on clients care to colleagues and to other non-professional carers is also a key part in this role.
