Pulse are working with a client who have a vacancy for a Clinical Psychologist who will be responsible for the provision of psychological services within a group of residential care homes for children.

The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, formulation, training, supervision and input into the care planning process, to improve the mental health of the children based across the service. The psychologist will also need to be able to communicate about psychological issues with residential care staff, operational managers, commissioners, social workers and members of the clinical team, both at an individual and systemic level.

The ideal candidate will also be able to travel to Wales on an ad-hoc basis.

You must have the relevant qualifications and be registered with the Heath and Care Professions Council. Applications from candidates completing their training in 2016 are also welcome.
