Pulse is working with a well-established service to support them with recruiting a Clinical Psychologist to join its current team.

The Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical assessment, professional consultation and training to support the planning, delivery and evaluation of psychological and therapeutic assessment and interventions with young people. You will also provide intervention and consultation for young people. This role will allow you to work within a multi-disciplinary professional team to deliver and promote positive outcomes for young people. You will, guide the in-house team around the child to review progress and risk process and to develop and monitor intervention (treatment) plans for the young person.

It is desired that the candidate is a Clinical Psychologist with HCPC registration however candidates qualifying from September 2016 will also be considered. Candidates should have experience of working with a wide variety of client groups across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and the threat of physical abuse. You will be required to maintain your own professional registration, accreditation and expertise as per statutory requirements.
