Pulse Staffing have a client who have a vacancy for a Clinical Psychologist who will be responsible for the provision of psychological services within a specialist hospital for children and adolescents.

The Clinical Psychologist will be undertaking psychological assessments and treatments. They will run and assist with the planning and provision of individual and group treatment and provide guidance in the development of psychological services within the therapy team. They are also expected to attend multi-disciplinary team meetings and present psychological findings and issues for discussion at these meeting.

Candidates are required to have completed a post-graduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology and hold registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. Newly qualified clinical psychologist applications are welcome. Ideally candidates should have experience of working with a wide variety of client groups across the whole life course presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems.
