Pulse are working with a specialist residential school for Children and Young People with Autism Spectrum Disorders to find them a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.

The school offers integrated residential, education and care package for children between 8 and 19 years with a wide range of complex needs, including: Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Dyspraxia and ADHD. As well as impaired social or cognitive functioning due to early life trauma and attachment difficulties. The service has a dedicated staff team who are focused on the delivery of high quality, child centred, bespoke packages of care and education. 

The Clinical or Counselling Psychologist will provide a highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as working autonomously with professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
