Pulse are working with a specialist education service for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions to find them a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.

The post holder will be based in a school. The school is split into primary and secondary levels, and covers the ages of 4 and 19 inclusive. The Psychologist in place will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, which includes Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and assistant Psychology. The candidate would work very closely with service users, but also with other non-psychological professionals and the children's families.

Candidates must have experience of working with people with Autism Spectrum Conditions, or have a keen interest in doing so. The ideal candidate will have experience using Autism Diagnostic tools like ADOS or DISCO, however this is not essential. The candidate must be registered with the HCPC to be considered for the role.
