An opportunity has become available for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work within an early intervention, tier 2 service for young people suffering from mild to moderate mental health conditions, which don’t meet the criteria for more specialist services. This is a permanent position, offering 22 hours per week and is based in the Derbyshire area. 

The post holder will be delivering 1:1 and family support, using tailored psychological formulations, to help build resilience in children and young people. You will be leading on the development of care plans, offering clinical supervision and support and work with a range of professionals to ensure that service users are reaching their full potential.

The ideal candidate for this role will be compassionate and caring, holding previous experience working with children in both clinical and community settings. Displaying excellent interpersonal and listening skills, they will be able to demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence whilst working systemically within professional guidelines.
