An opportunity has become available for a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist to undertake a permanent position within a clinical LAC service in Lancashire.

This role as a forensic psychologist, clinical psychologist or counselling psychologist would work within a LAC team, providing assessments and therapy to children with mild to moderate mental health issues. You would work within a multi-disciplinary team alongside Occupational Therapists, CBT Therapists, Psychiatrists and Registered Mental Health nurses. The post holder will also work closely with non-psychological professionals, advising on best psychological care.

Our client will consider soon to qualify, newly qualified and through to consultant level psychologists. 

Salary will be dependent on experience and banding.

To be considered for this role you will: 
• Have completed Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychology 
• Hold HCPC registration 
• Have experience of working with looked after children 
• Have experience of undertaking assessment and intervention with service users who have learning disabilities, mental health, emotional and behavioural difficulties and experience of child exploitation
