Pulse is recruiting for an experienced Clinical Psychologist who specialises in CAMHS. The role will be based in a Tier 4 inpatient setting which caters for patients between the ages of 12 & 18 who have a mental health disorder. The role is with a leading private mental health provider at one of their sites based in Berkshire.  This is a temporary role likely to run for 2 months initially and the client is looking or someone full-time who can start ASAP.


On site you will form part of a multi-disciplinary team formed of a range of Mental Health care professionals. Disorders dealt with by the service include but are not limited to:

  • PTSD
  • Psychosis
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Eating disorders
  • Mood disorders
  • Emerging personality disorder
  • Self-harm


While in post you will be expected to provide assessment, formulation and treatment for the patients within the service, providing support until they are able to enter a step-down programme or be transferred to a different environment/service. You will provide risk assessment & also develop relapse prevention plans.
