Pulse are currently recruiting for a split role between an adult eating disorders unit and an adult psychiatric intensive care unit or an adult long stay rehab unit for one of our private clients based in Cheshire. This is a permanent vacancy, offering full-time hours, split across two teams.
The Psychologist will be working as part of an Eating Disorders team for 3 days per week, providing assessments and therapy to patients with restrictive eating disorders. You will be part of an MDT, helping to provide the best possible outcomes for the service users.
During the other two days, the post holder will be working within an a psychiatric intensive care unit for adults with complex, severe and enduring mental health conditions. The psychologist will undertake specialist mental health assessments, as well as formulating treatment plans and delivering evidence based therapeutic interventions.
It is essential that the Psychologist is HCPC registered and has previous experience working within adult mental health and eating disorders, to be considered for this role.
