Position: Specialty Dr in Substance Misuse Psychiatry within an independent hospital
Hours: This position is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum
Dates: Immediate start (permanent role)
Location: This vacancy is situated within West Sussex
The post holder must have suitable experience in substance misuse or other relevant experience as well as expertise in the treatment for people with dual diagnosis. The service is fast paced so the successful candidate will need to be able to work in a busy environment, with the ability to manage time under pressure.
The post-holder will contribute to the West Sussex service to ensure that people consistently receive high quality services that adhere to best practice guidelines and achieve high professional standards. They will be responsible for contributing to the overall performance of the service.
The post-holder will be required to work flexibly across a number of operational sites as required and work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision. This may include some evening and weekend working as determined by local need.
The post-holder candidates will participate in a well-developed monthly CPD programme, receive regular structured supervision and be fully supported in annual appraisal and revalidation. All doctors within change grow live receive weekly protected CPD and are encouraged and supported to get involved in clinical audit and research.
- You must have; excellent verbal communication skills, writing skills and be computer literate.
- You need to be Flexible, remain professional at all times and to be able to work with Adults of all ages.
- You must be GMC registered
- 2 years experience in Substance Misuse
- Ideally MRCPsych
- Car Driver
