Position: Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry within an independent hospital
Hours: This Position is a full time role of 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum
Dates: Immediate start (permanent role)
Location: This vacancy is situated within Yorkshire
As part of a dynamic MDT, you will join us in taking a whole person approach to the assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders under the supervision of our Consultants. With responsibility for acute physical healthcare needs in partnership with local primary and secondary care services, you are passionate about providing the most effective interventions for service users. Your role aims to ensure the safety and development of the team and the patients in your care. working 8 hours per day (Monday to Friday) in addition to being available for on-call cover on a 1 in 7 basis.
The service is an open acute service that can support up to 19 men in a therapeutic and calming setting. The service is an emergency admission ward that aims to work with service users with a broad range of mental health problems. The team works closely and collaboratively with service users, their family and the referrer to provide a seamless pathway from referral to discharge
- You must have; excellent verbal communication skills, writing skills and be computer literate.
- You need to be Flexible, remain professional at all times and to be able to work with Adults of all ages.
- You must be GMC registered
- Section 12 approved
