Position: Associate Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Location: The vacancy is within South Wales
Start/End Date: This is a Full time permanent position
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm = 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum
This Foundation provides everyone that uses their services with great compassionate care, identifying what is important to a young person – and their families, is what drives a young person’s care plan whilst with them. The foundation’s service has been designed to provide a homely atmosphere whilst maintaining the physical security required for young people placed there. With the focus on relational security they ensure every young person has an individualised active rehabilitation programme that meets their needs and maintains their safety. Focusing on having young people placed with them to develop personally – to learning new skills and to manage their mental health difficulties, which is why working in partnership with them from admission to discharge is most important.
Full GMC registration and a licence to practice, Excellent Communication Skills, Proven background in Child and Adolecent Psychiatry preferred.
- Providing assessment and treatment
- Working within a inpatient setting
- Providing Diagnosis, Treatment & support
- Analysing a patient's mental health status
- Review and evaluate treatment procedures and outcomes of other psychiatrists or medical professionals.
- Prepare and submit case reports or summaries to government or mental health agencies.
