Position: Consultant in CAMHS Psychiatry within an independent hospital
Hours: This position is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £185,000 per annum
Dates: Immediate start (permanent role)
Location: This vacancy is situated within Berkshire
This role is dedicated to providing high quality clinical care for patients referred to and using the services of the hospital. The post holder works loosely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centric care and treatment programme. The post holder will be the clinical lead for a full multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will occupy our PICU in which there is specialist expertise within the team. The hospital registration is between 12 and 25 and as such there is scope for the treatment of complex patients across transition into adulthood. As such there is specialist expertise within the multi-disciplinary team for this group of patients but not exclusively for this group of patients.
The Post holder will be expected to contribute to the development of the services in line with the changing commissioning and commercial pressure in the sector.
- You must have; excellent verbal communication skills, writing skills and be computer literate.
- You need to be Flexible, remain professional at all times and to be able to work with Adults of all ages.
- You must be GMC registered
- CCT in CAMHS Psychiatry
- Approved Clinician
- Section 12 approved
