Job Summary

Position: Consultant in Learning Disability Psychiatry within an independent hospital

Hours: This Position is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week 

Salary: Up to £140,000 per annum

Dates:  Immediate start (permanent role)

Location:  This vacancy is situated within Durham

 

Job description

You will undertake work that is meaningful to our service users and socially important within the local community – working for this service will provide you with the opportunity to support vulnerable adults with a learning disability who may be on the autistic spectrum or have a personality disorder.

Skills

  • You must have; excellent verbal communication skills, writing skills and be computer literate.
  • You need to be Flexible, remain professional at all times and to be able to work with Adult's of all ages.

Experience/Grade

  • You must be GMC registered
  • CCT in Learning Disability Psychiatry
  • Approved Clinician
  • Section 12 approved
