This is a 4 month full time post starting on Monday 17th July 2017 until Friday 1st December 2017.
The working hours for the position are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm and will include a compulsory unpaid 30 minute break per day, making the total daily hours 7.5 per day and 37.5 per week.
About the Placement
Working within a secure mental health unit, you will be responsible for providing care and treatment as well as assisting in the recovery and rehabilitation of service users. You will be working alongside an already highly experienced and multi-skilled team of healthcare professionals to ensure the service users are proactive and are involved in their treatment where possible. The aim of the service is to help all individuals feel supported whilst receiving a high standard of personalised care which is free from judgement and discrimination.
What experience and skills do I need?
The suitable candidate must have these following skills and experience:
- Full GMC registration.
- Licence to practice.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Excellent Written Communication skills.
- To be professional at all times.
- Experience within a consultant role in Forensic Psychiatry.
