Pulse is pleased to offer a new vacancy for a Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry

Placement information

Start/End Date: The successful candidate is to be available ASAP for 1 month

Proposed working pattern:. 9am – 5pm = 7.5 Hours X 1 Day Per Week (inc 30 min break)

What we require

  • Full GMC registration.
  • Licence to practice.
  • You must be both a team player and able to work autonomously, with the ability to contribute effectively to service development.
  • Experience in Forensic Psychiatry

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Providing assessment and treatment
  2. Providing Diagnosis, Treatment & support
  3. Analysing a patient's mental health status
  4. Review and evaluate treatment procedures and outcomes of other psychiatrists or medical professionals
  5. Providing  high quality, specialised treatment for mentally disordered offenders and appropriate others
