Position: Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry within an independent hospital
Hours: This position is a part time role of 22.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £140,000 per annum
Dates: Immediate start (permanent role)
Location: This vacancy is situated within West Surrey
This role is based in a secure environment while our community-focused facility that helps service users return to independent living. A dedicated and multidisciplinary team of professionals, we deliver a range of therapies designed to help problems such as substance misuse, violent offending and personality disorder.
Assessing and treating psychiatric disorders at Consultant level, you’ll manage a dynamic MDT, cover peers when necessary and be available for on-call cover. Passionate about providing the best interventions for service users, you’ll be a key player in care assessment meetings and tribunals. And as a committed an intuitive leader, you’ll bring your expertise to ensure the safety and development of your team and the inpatients in your care.
- You must have; excellent verbal communication skills, writing skills and be computer literate.
- You need to be Flexible, remain professional at all times and to be able to work with Adults of all ages.
- You must be GMC registered
- CCT in General Adult Psychiatry and/or Rehabilitation Psychiatry
- Approved Clinician
- Section 12 approved
