Once your registration is complete, you can book shifts anytime with our app, ipoint. Whether you’re on the move or on the sofa, our booking app allows you to search hundreds of local shifts to find the one that’s right for you.

Pulse Documentation Needed To Register

Important documents

Please make sure you have the following documents to hand:

  • Proof of right to work (passport, visa etc.)
  • 2 examples of proof of address (dated within the last three months)
  • DBS number
  • Details of referees (a minimum of two referees, covering the last three years of your employment history in full. One of these must be able to provide a clinical reference)
  • CV including 10-year work history. Don’t have a CV? Use our work history generator to build your CV in minutes
  • Degree/ diploma certificate
  • Proof of relevant immunisations
  • Training certificates
  • A photo for your ID badge

We know interviews can be time-consuming and daunting, that's why our recruitment process includes an online video interview that can be taken anytime and anywhere; making you feel more relaxed and comfortable. Being online means no additional travel for you and we can process your registration faster - plus it's available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

HireVue is the name of the platform we use for video interviews. All you’ll need is an internet connection and a device capable of recording video, such as a smartphone, tablet or computer with web cam.

Third party providers

We’ve partnered with uCheck, HireVue and Healthier Business to complete your background checks, video interview and occupational health. Keep an eye out for emails from these companies during this process for additional guidance and information.

uCheck helps us to review your DBS, right to work and identity – ensuring we know you are who you say you are.

Healthier Business looks at your occupational health, making sure that your immunisations are all up to date.

The number of immunisations depends on the role you will be carrying out - all of the below is required for every nurse:

  • TB
  • Measles
  • Rubella
  • Hep B
  • Varicella

If you are an EPP (A&E, Midwife, Scrub Nurse) you will also need the following:

  • Hep B
  • Surface Antigen
  • Hep C and HIV
