Position – X3 Theatre Practitioner /ODP - Cheshire

Salary – £25,000-30,000 – Negotiable
Hours- Full-timeJob Purpose
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients demonstrating good clinical practice at all times.
Assist in development of care pathways which are research-based reflecting individualised patient care as outlined in Ward Philosophy: To provide exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre.Accountabilities:
Document accurately all aspects of patient care, undertake risk assessments and document findings.
Undertake extended role such as IV drug administration adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Promote effective communications liaising with other members of the health care team enhancing good team work.
Provide cost-effective nursing service using skill mix in accordance with patient dependency; ensure all patient charges are captured.
Early recognition of clinical problems and report on or take appropriate action.
To demonstrate tact and sensitivity and an understanding of individual needs.
To be efficient and professional in representing the Hospital.
To keep up-to-date with current practices.
Support and act as a role model to junior staff.
To ensure familiarisation with equipment being used to ensure skilled and safe operation
Qualifications & Training:
NMC / HCPC Registered
Previous experience of dealing with a range of medical specialities within a hospital environment
HDU/CCU experience desirable Skills & Behaviours:
