Position – Theatre Team Leader – Anaesthetics -Wirral

Salary – Up to £35K
Hours – Full Time Hours

Our client deals with a broad range of specialities with 57 beds including a 2 bed HDU and 3 theatres. The hospital serves a geographically defined area formed by the Wirral peninsular with the majority of patients drawn from within a 10 mile radius.

Main responsibilities:
To provide leadership and team building skills to support the delivery of quality patient care while  ensuring the team delivers an effective, efficient service to consultants, peers and patients while maximising theatre utilisation.

If you are looking for an exciting opportunity, join our theatre team as the Team Leader for Anaesthetics. We are looking to attract a motivated Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP with excellent communication skills looking for a change of role in an environment where you will be supported. We provide a wide range of surgical procedures, ranging in complexity and acuity. Our theatre team works closely with some of the region's leading Consultants and are exposed to the latest innovative, evidence -based clinical techniques.  Our real driving force is our ability to invest in our people, as we support our Theatre Nurses / ODPs to build their skills through mentoring and formal training such as ALS and  PILS.

Candidates must be willing to work flexibly and across specialities primarily within Anaesthetics.  The ability to lead a team through change and deliver on promises is essential.  The role of the Team Leader is the key element between the Theatre Manager and the Anaesthetic Team.  We are also keen to promote from within the network, so if you are looking for a long term career with advancement opportunities you will find them here. A number of our Theatre Nurses/ODPs have gone on to secure Theatre Team Leader and Theatre Manager posts and we are very keen to encourage these ambitions.



Salary will be dependent upon experience.
