Pulse is looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) experienced in working with adults with complex and enduring mental health needs. This small, male-only independent hospital in Wrexham provides specialist care to adults living with enduring mental disorders. As part of this role you will support patients in this locked rehabilitation and low secure service. As Staff Nurse you will be experienced in providing clinical leadership to healthcare staff and acting as a role model for the delivery of care. You will be looking after a caseload of patients and be involved in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of their care.

Responsibilities for the Registered Nurse – RMN:

  • Providing and developing person centred care
  • Educating and supporting healthcare and junior staff members
  • Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
  • Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
  • Deputising in the absence of senior members of nursing staff
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places

Registered Nurse qualified with relevant experience (RMN) must have:

  • Registered Nurse qualified (RMN)
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Up to date clinical experience
  • Current and valid registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
