Pulse is working in partnership with a Hospice in East London that provides care and support for people affected by serious illness. The Hospice is a registered independent charity and aims to improve the quality of life for people with life-limiting conditions and to help them live life to the full, to the very end. Supporting families and carers is also an important part of what they do.
The hospice cares for those living in North and East London, and the hospice services include:
• Palliative care
• Nursing and medical care
• Emotional support
• Physical and psychological therapies
• Social and creative activities
Care is provided in a number of settings at the hospice and in the local community, including:
• In-patient wards
• Respite ward
• Day hospice
• Out-patients clinic
• Patients' own homes
• Care homes
• Residential settings
We are recruiting Band 5 and Band 6 registered nurses for the inpatient wards. We are also very happy to review applications from newly qualified nurses and those working within the nursing and residential home setting. We want to hear from those who genuinely want to develop and/or progress within the hospice specialty. The hospice is committed to each employee’s professional development and career progression, and they pride themselves on up-skilling and supporting their staff in their on-going career.
