Salary – £14 per hour

Hours –Full Time

 

Our client is looking for an exceptional and experienced Registered Nurse covering post-op to join their busy department, encompassing a variety of general and specialised outpatient consultations. You would be looking after a 38 bed ward

Working Hours

This is a full time role based of 37.5 hours per week. You will be working shifts - early, afternoon & nights with some weekends.

About this outpatients role

This role combines empathetic care with high levels of expertise. It’s about reassuring and encouraging patients while also having the clinical skills to take part in procedures and recovery.

Whilst working for our client, you’ll have exposure to a wide range of procedures, requiring all your skills and experience.

Your key accountabilities will be:

  • Supervising and supporting clinical support staff and junior staff in the delivery of care, providing education, training and mentorship to meet development needs
  • Delivering high quality patient care, which is clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate
  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care as part of a collaborative programme

You’ll need to be an excellent communicator and team worker – flexible and motivated. As part of the wider hospital team, you’ll interact with practitioners from other areas because you understand the importance of continuity in patient care.
