Our client is looking to recruit part-time and full-time experienced, motivated Registered Nurses, to join their motivated surgical nursing team. They can offer our Nurses the opportunity to work in a challenging role in a supportive working environment dealing with a full range of surgeries, from minor procedures to major operations. On a daily basis you will work on the wards treating a diverse variety of patients from many different specialities.
As a Registered Nurse you will get the opportunity to work with some of the region’s best consultants so you will be open to innovative evidence-based clinical techniques. Our client is looking for Nurses to meet their high clinical standards. Our client’s hospitals are delivering increasingly complex care, and this requires highly skilled nursing teams.
Our client is looking for experienced and committed Theatre Nurses/ODPs to join our friendly operating theatre team. In this Registered Nurse role, you’ll have the time to give patients personalised care to a standard you can be proud of. You’ll have support from a strong management team to develop your skills with confidence. Our client is a successful and growing business, with a strong track record of promoting Nurses to management positions, meaning that a career with them can take you far. Our client has stated they prefer theatre staff to be as multi-skilled as possible, so ideally you will be able to work across scrub, anaesthetics and/or recovery, but many of our staff specialise in just one or two areas. Most important is that our Theatre Nurses/ODPs are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures, or are willing to learn new procedures and techniques under expert supervision.
This is a full time or part-time Theatre Nurse/ODP position.
Assess patient’s health and well being across a changing caseload.
Assist in the delivery of care within the surgical department, to meet individual’s health and well being needs
Provide and receive complex and sensitive information.
Develop own knowledge and skills.
Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
Assist in maintaining and developing services.
Endorse people’s equality, diversity and rights.
Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:
Working in teams or with minimum supervision
Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge
Posses the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies.
Demonstrate principles of accountable practice
English language to IELTS 7.0
NMC registration and regulation
Willing to participate in flexible working pattern
Compassion for vulnerable and sick patients
Understanding for principles and importance of EO and dignity at work
Working towards a post registration qualification in a clinical specialism
Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences
Trained on Microsoft Office and other relevant packages
