Pulse is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to work within a leading clinic in London that specialises in Gamma Knife treatment. You do not need to have experience within this speciality - this is a unique opportunity to gain full training.
Gamma Knife Radiosurgery treatment is a simple, painless and straight forward procedure for the treatment of brain tumours or lesions in the brain. The centre is located within a leading London NHS trust, and treats NHS and private patients.
The Nurse will join a specialist, experienced and a very friendly multi-disciplinary team, and full training in this specialist area will be provided, all we ask is that the successful candidate is motivated to learn. Experience within neurology or neurosurgery is advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will run pre-assessment clinics and work alongside radiographers and world-renowned consultants to participate in all aspects of the patient’s clinical and nursing care from admission through to discharge. There will also be the opportunity to participate in audits and research programmes so that care can continually be delivered based on best practice and validated research.
Working Monday - Friday (no weekends), the salary is up to £40,000 per annum + benefits.
