Pulse are looking for registered mental health nurse work within a leading private mental health provider in a low secure unit.
Our client is a independent hospital based in the heart of London and they are dedicated providing high-quality care to their 22 service users. The hospital is finished to high standard with en suite bedrooms and gym facilities to promote comfortable care for its service users.
They offer care and treatment that is planned individually, ensuring that every person has an integrated pathway through secure care with clear and therapeutic objectives. You would join highly specialised multi-disciplinary team that utilise a combination of therapies such as; psycho dynamic, occupation and complementary.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of the nursing team, providing complex mental health nursing, challenging behaviour, alcohol and substance misuse care.
Other interventions may include
Treatments for anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis and personality disorder
Violent offender management programmes
Thinking skills and problem solving
Fire setting interventions
We are looking to hear from NMC registered nurses who have 1-year post qualification experience looking for a new challenge in their career, who are interested in progressing in their career working with low service users. We are looking to hear from registered mental health nurses with PICU, medium secure, acute inpatient and community experience. Low secure unit experience is beneficial but not essential.
