Pulse Nursing has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to work in Palliative/end of life care, for the largest general hospitals in North East London.                       

 They offer a range of local services and are easily assessable by public transport.

We are looking for a band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist that can demonstrate research-based knowledge of pain and symptoms management, critically reflect on prescribed interventions and show knowledge of current professional issues in nursing and palliative care.                      

 The successful candidate will work alongside Lead Clinicians, Specialist Nurses, Service general managers and Director for Cancer / Palliative Care.   

 

Job Description

The post holder will have to be able to work autonomously with other multidisciplinary teams and specialities and managing clinical caseload. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principle and practice of specialist and supportive palliative care.

To be capable to adapt unpredictable changes in a short time frame and be able to deliver performance outcomes and manage challenging situations and ethical dilemmas.
