Paediatric Regional Clinical Lead 
Home based with frequent travel
£32,000 - £42,000 Full Time, Permanent

Pulse Nursing at Home are currently looking to recruit a passionate and knowledgeable Paediatric Nurse to work with our complex care packages as a Regional Clinical Lead. You will be using your clinical expertise to support our clients, their families and our workers within a number of our care packages to ensure excellence in service delivery. 

You will be:

A band 6 or above Nurse with experience in complex care.

Key Tasks:

Package Management

Undertake clinical care and risk assessments for new packages of care in accordance with the CQC guidelines
Undertake comprehensive risk assessments to ensure client and associate safety
Awareness and management of care plan and risk assessment updates required
Review and monitor care packages
Develop and maintain relationships with current clients 
Manage client‘s needs and promote independence where ever possible
Making clinical decisions in regards to risk, safety and best practice
Attends multi disciplinary meetings and communicates all updates with all professionals involved in the care package
Take new client enquiries, send highly sensitive and confidential information to clients and other professionals involved in care
Set up all information required on IQX for team to be aware of client, shifts and pay rate
Understanding of CCG procurement and invoicing procedures for a streamlined support service

Sales Performance

Increase patient package numbers week on week to grow hours, candidates and GM
Support organisation of Business Development meetings and 100% achievement of weekly KPIs based on current your ‘key contacts’ in the market
Supporting the Team Leader with the collation of weekly KPI reports
Awareness of individual and team KPIs
Supporting the Manager with individual and team growth plans 
Ensure cross selling across the team and division
Awareness of PN@H terms and conditions, USPs for new clients including charge breakdown

Candidate Control

Ensure compliance  & quality control documentation (e.g. DBS checks) has been completed prior to assignment to clients
Assessing candidates files for skills and competencies matching these appropriately to homecare clients
Detailed handing over of care plans and non-clinical details as well as expectations
Conducting Nurse and HCA supervisions
Support to interview, supervise, appraise and coordinate nurses
Identify training needs of nurses alongside nurse consultant
Attend Spot Checks and escalate clinical concerns to nurse consultant
Assess competencies of the staff working in the packages

Quality Control

Communicates appropriately via email, verbally and face to face ensuring impeccable standard while client facing
Assists with ensuring branch’s compliance with relevant quality policies and procedures and legislative requirements and keeping up to date with changes as determined by the Quality and Compliance team.
Assists with ensuring all nurses cleared for work are compliant with internal recruitment policies and procedures.
Assists with preparation of branch for audit by the internal Quality and Compliance team and external authorities
Ensure all checks are carried out in line with Company standards
Responsibility for answering incoming calls efficiently  – presenting a professional and businesslike manner at all times
Full understanding and management of Datix
Resolve complaints/problems quickly & accurately following appropriate procedure
Adheres to the companies health and safety policies and procedures, reporting issues to management if required.
Adhering to professional image at all client meeting
Have an in-depth awareness of compliance procedures
Raise any clinical concerns with Business Manager, Nurse Consultant and Clinical Governance Team

Supervision: Care packages

Decision making authority:  Within post holders competencies, referring any issues to the Nurse Team Leader or Business Manager
