Medical Reporting Nurse

Starting salary £31,000 + excellent benefits

Pulse is working in partnership with the world’s leading medical and travel security risks company to recruit registered nurses for their new medical reporting nursing team. The healthcare team provides comprehensive healthcare management and related support services to all beneficiaries who are enrolled in the programme worldwide.

The medical reporting nurse will work closely with the medical team and the overseas field based nursing team to medically monitor and review all patients who have been admitted to an in-patient facility across the globe.  This will require professional, regular and detailed communication with both colleagues and external medical personnel, therefore excellent interpersonal, written and documentation skills are essential for this role.

The medical reporting nurse will be responsible for ensuring that all case notes and reports for the patients are up to date. They will be aware of the patient's current medical status and treatment plans, and they will therefore need to maintain close contact and open channels of communication with all clinical personnel who are responsible for the patient's care.

This is very interesting and unique role, as you will be dealing with a wide variety of medical cases. Essential criteria for the role are:

  • NMC Registered Nurse with experience in acute medical/surgical nursing or critical care areas
  • High level of written English
  • Basic IT skills

This is an excellent opportunity to transition from a hands-on clinical role into an international and corporate environment, whilst still utilising and building on your medical knowledge and skills.  Full training for the role will be provided.
