Location - Nottingham 
Salary- £29,484-£31,668
Hours- Full Time – Permanent - Shift Patterns - 39.5 hours per week

It is a leading provider of services for people with a personality disorder and continues to grow these services with associated developments around innovative clinical models, and the development of measurable outcomes.

The Site
My clients site is a specialist mental health service for men with a personality disorder, who also present with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours. All of our patients are detained under the Mental Health Act and our catchment area is nationwide.

Their goal is to enable personal, meaningful and sustainable positive change amongst the men we support; helping them to live with greater independence and move away from statutory services at the earliest appropriate opportunity.

Job Role
My client is looking for a Registered Mental Health / LD Nurse for their ground-breaking specialist PD site in Nottingham.
You will need to be a qualified Registered Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Nurse. You will be a strong team player, confident and motivated and well organised. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all you’ll be someone with a genuine desire to help others.
You will be encouraged to contribute to, and influence the development of active care. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you must be able to show initiative, demonstrating clear decision making and organisational skills. You will be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual patient programs of care.
Additionally you will support empowerment of the patients with particular regard to their dignity, rights and advice.
Individuals should be fully conversant with the Mental Health Act and its recent updates; have an understanding of the latest nursing practices as well as the local and national agenda’s that impact on nursing practice and patient care.
Full induction training is given. You will also learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession and just like our Service Users you will be learning all the time through our excellent on-going mentoring and support.
