Pulse Nursing has a tremendous opportunity for a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN), for North London Forensic Service. The role is suitable for Band 6 Registered Nurses with a forensic background, who will be working at Willesden Magistrates’ Court Liaison and Diversion Teams in borough Police Custody Suites.

The Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) will provide a proactive assessment to liaison and diversion service in all Police Custody Suites and Magistrates Courts in the area. You will be working an average of 37.5 hours per week, 3 X 12.5-hour day shifts.

Job Description 

To receive referrals from custody suites and to attend in a timely manner, to assess detained people deemed to be mentally vulnerable, or to be suffering from a mental illness. You will also ensure that individuals presenting with mental health problems have their needs addressed and be diverted into appropriate health care services as necessary
