Are you a registered community psychiatry nurse (CPN) looking to work in South West London?

We are looking for band 6 community psychiatry nurses (CPNs) to work at St George’s University Hospital (nearest tube station Tooting Broadway, Northern Line).

St George’s provides a wide range of specialist services and care to their patients. The role of an agency community psychiatric nurse (CPN) will be to support the patient’s key workers within the mental health system, working alongside other professionals such as psychiatrist and psychotherapists.

We offer flexible shifts depending on whether you would prefer earlies, days, or nights and you can book your own shifts through our app ipoint, or via our dedicated bookings team. 

Job requirements:

  • NMC current registration
  • Six months minimum post registration experience
  • PMVA Trained
  • You will be required to asses and talk to patients about their problems, develop plans on delivering their care.
  • Administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with doctors.
  • The post holder will work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives and carers. 
  • Must be able to provide 2 clinical references to cover the past 3 years of employment.
