Job Summary –
My client is looking for a dynamic, self- motivated Clinical leader who can inspire passion in those delivering care. The successful candidate will be a credible Clinical leader and have a proven track record in leadership. It is essential that this person possesses both strong leadership and managerial skills and is willing to undertake non patient facing duties as an integral part to this role.
As well as managing the nursing team, this role is part of the senior leadership team within the hospital and with that comes more responsibility and opportunity to be involved and lead on a number of projects.

This role is offered on a permanent, full time basis at 37.5 hours per week.

Highly proactive and motivated to deliver high standards of nursing care.
Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management.
Results driven, possessing evidence of having delivered against targets within an acute clinical setting.
Strong interpersonal skills:
Able to communicate clearly with a range of people at differing levels across the hospital.
Able to motivate, shape and direct a team to maximise motivation.
Able to support and develop staff to deliver business goals.
Good financial awareness and control.
Understands the financial imperatives within the business model.
Anticipates, manages and monitors risks and deliverables.
Must be a Registered Nurse (current NMC registration essential).Duties of this role include:
Supporting the Director of Clinical Services and Senior Nurses to deliver the clinical governance framework and Nursing Strategy.
Overall lead for a number of departments: Wards, Oncology, Critical Care, Consulting Suites, Pre-assessment.
Providing clinical direction and leadership for the nursing team.
Managing the provision of the 24 hour clinical service.
Co-ordinating and maintaining the delivery of safe clinical quality and care standards.
Ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory and best practice frameworks as applied to nursing.
Supporting the Senior Nurses.
Working closely with all Allied Health Professionals.
