ICU Clinical Nurse Manager
Permanent, full time
Monday-Friday, regular working hours
£50,000-£55,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits
Pulse is excited to be working alongside a world renowned healthcare organisation to recruit an intensive care clinical nurse specialist to work in a Monday-Friday, regular working hour’s position.
You will have the unique opportunity to work across two hospital sites in London less then a 10 minute walk from each other alongside their dedicated intensive care teams.
This exciting opportunity tasks you as a CNS to be a key leader in the development of the new unit at one of the two hospitals, where they’re developing a 4 bedded purpose built critical care unit for women undergoing complex surgery.
In addition to this, you will also be working on the site of the other hospital that has a state-of-the-art 9 bedded intensive care unit that provides complex care to cardiac, neurosurgery and oncology ITU patients.
To be responsible for providing professional leadership and have managerial responsibility for the clinical staff and service within the critical care units at both the hospitals.
Duties and responsibilities
To manage and lead the sisters and other senior clinical team members; offering guidance and support and ensuring consistency throughout the unit
Managing the departments costs effectively, planning staff deployment and monitoring workload and skill mix
To be responsible for the effective management and progressive development of a high quality and patient focused critical care service
Skills and experience
The successful nurse will be rewarded with a salary of £50,000-£55,000 per annum + excellent benefits.
