With an ever increasing demand from our clients, Pulse Nursing Agency are looking for three experienced  adolescent  Mental Health Nurses with experience in working in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services workers for a multi-disciplinary adolescent mental health service. The specialist adolescent service works with high risk and challenging adolescents aged between 12-17, with one team in each of the three boroughs (Barnet, Enfield and Haringey). This service aims to provide an integrated specialist mental health service for adolescents who require an early/urgent intervention and more intensive input, including assertive outreach, and who may be referred by both the local authority and Health professionals.

Our clients are offering working days Monday – Friday 9.00 – 17.00, 37.5 Hours per week

Our client is looking for candidates:

To deliver a high standard of nursing care

To respond to clinical emergencies as required

To accurately record and monitor vital signs, recognizing when to inform senior nursing staff in the event of clinical deterioration

To liaise with all members of the multidisciplinary team in a manner that promotes effective teamwork

To work in a team in order to achieving ward/unit objectives

To ensure that all procedures are carried out in accordance with Trust policies

Maintaining personal contact with patients, relatives and carers, being  sensitive to their needs and ensuring a friendly environment at all times

 

Successful Candidates will:

Have at least 6 months current clinical experience in acute mental health setting

Have PMVA training up-to-date and completed Safeguarding Level 3

Be reliable

Commitment to self-development

Ability to deal with conflict, self-motivation and be proficient with all aspects of critical care

Have excellent communication skills

Be able to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team

Have the ability to adapt to different hospital environments
