Pulse is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated band 5 CAMHS Nurse to work in Woking, Surrey. The starting pay rate can be up to £30.56 per hour and successful applicants will also have the privilege of FREE parking. This will be a six to twelve month placement with the opportunity to develop into a permanent role.


It is essential that CAMHS Nurses will have a minimum 6 months experience with adolescents in a secure setting and full training and supervision will be provided to those who are efficient.


Day shifts upon starting however, we can offer night shifts in the forcible future. You will be based in a small adolescent unit with strong person centred focus.


Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Take the lead for young people requiring full health assessments

  • Provide education and prevention using face to face and online digital interventions

  • Utilising a universal, targeted and holistic approach to an individual's health with additional specialist substance misuse, sexual health and mental health provision

  • Deliver interventions by working on a 1:1 basis or within groups
