My client specialises in same day diagnostics and outpatient medical and dental services that deliver an extensive range of treatments at their state-of-the-art clinic in the Hertfordshire region.
Working with highly qualified GPs, medical consultants, dentists, support staff and the most advanced diagnostic and imaging equipment available in the industry enables us to deliver an exemplary standard of patient care in addition to an extensive range of medical and dental services and treatments all under one roof.

This role is likely to evolve and expand as the company progresses.
Scope of Role
This is a key role with accountability for the development and achievement of a sales and growth plan through comprehensive understanding of the local healthcare market / community, delivering an effective strategy to drive sales in all sectors.
The post holder will work closely with the Operations and Commercial Director and the clinical team to develop and customise services to meet the healthcare requirements of potential corporate clients.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing a business development plan, exceeding budgeted sales, demonstrate a hands-on approach, be able to coach and lead the GP Liaison Manager(s) and create and manage the telephone “contact centre” for handling patient enquiries and converting appointments. They will have the credibility required to develop productive and sustainable relationships with national and local accounts on a corporate basis.
Compliance with governance and ethos is an essential requirement to ensure ethical practice.
Working as part of the Senior Management Team, build the annual sales plan, set targets, and create strategies to achieve revenue and referral budget.
Review and analyse the market demographics, to understand the market, identify key referrers and build partnerships.
Work with existing Consultants to build their referral network in the private clinic.
Identify, build relationships and create a robust referral network for consultations and diagnostics with key referrers – NHS and private GPs, physios, osteopaths, chiropractors and dentists.
Identify new consultants in line with my client’s business plans and service offering aspirations. Recruit key consultants, process them smoothly through Practicing Privileges and the Medical Advisory Committee.
Build the profile of new consultants via marketing team, CPD events and ‘lunch and learns’ with referrers and industry talks.
Work with consultants to produce business plans for potential new services across all disciplines. Working closely with Head of Clinical Services, Commercial finance team and marketing to financially viable develop packages and target groups.
Plan and implement a comprehensive business development programme to identify corporate targets and develop strong, ongoing relationships with key corporate clients to maximise sales opportunities.
Identify corporate client requirements and work with multi-disciplinary teams to build product offering, tailored packages and innovative solutions as client knowledge and needs develop.
To participate in the development of pricing strategies to attract and retain ongoing business.
Accountable for the achievement of annual revenue budgets and other KPI’s in line with business needs.
Develop a suite of sales and account reports for analysis, presentation and business review using integrated CRM system for tracking patient’s enquiries, treatment requests, corporate targets, conversions and revenue.
To work at local level as required to ensure your team has to the tools and support needed to build relationships with the local corporate and healthcare markets.
To work with the Head of Marketing and the Operations and Commercial Director to develop an annual plan of promotions and campaigns to capitalise on seasonal health issues, calendar of annual CPD events and notable news developments.
Create, development and deliver annual calendar of HCP visits, exhibitions, events, and presentations to referrers and corporates.
Management experience and credibility required to develop productive and sustainable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of the healthcare sector and credible with consultants, senior healthcare professionals as well as corporate clients.
