An opportunity has arisen at Pulse to join our team of A&E nurses for flexible work on an on-going basis. This reputable NHS client in West Sussex is currently ranked fourth in the country in terms of A&E performance. More than 96 per cent of people who attended Accident & Emergency in West Sussex over the past 12 months were seen, treated, admitted or discharged in under four hours.
You will be responsible for the assessment and triage of acutely ill, undiagnosed patients, entering the emergency department. You will be working in all areas A&E - Majors, Minors, Resus and Triage so must have 12 months post qualification experience working in an A&E environment.
The successful A&E nurse will be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise effectively in order to provide the highest standards of care. You will be supported on every shift by senior nurses and will never be left alone or put in charge.
